"If youre ready to build a custom home or still on the fence, reach out to NuWavz. If you dont read this whole review, the takeaway is we did our homework consulted 5 builders, picked NuWavz based on first impressions, post-build cannot imagine going through this process with anyone else. If we ever built another home, it would be NuWavz without a second thought. We are proud to be part of their line up! Communication is the single most important factor when building a custom home. We never felt out of the loop always knew what was going on. We asked a LOT of questions, which were answered promptly thoroughly. Just as much as we communicated with Dan, he communicated with us. When details came up that werent outlined in the plan, he reached out for our input instead of making a decision in the background without us. How high do you want the wall sconces? What depth for the bar counter overhang? The process is stressful so much stress can be eliminated by just being informed. You need to know your builder has your best interest in mind, ALWAYS. This is your home as much as their name is going on the build, you have to live there. Dan was incredible to work with because he is honest. If there was a mistake he never tried to cover it up; he just called us had a conversation about how to fix it. For example, we were short a granite slab so we had to pay cash for it had to lower the ceiling in the pantry so the air handler could fit. Mistakes are inevitable with such a cumbersome process, but Dans integrity gave us reassurance that he was always working towards delivering the best final product possible. Our budget did not allow us to select the windows we wanted black frame Pella. We were devastated to go with standard white frames. Months later Dan called us out of the blue we learned that he had continued researching, consulting to find a more affordable solution without sacrificing quality. We were shocked he had continued to invest so much time effort. Besides being absolutely stoked he found a solution we could afford, we were touched by his dedication to get us there. The NuWavz teams expertise was incredibly helpful. The team especially Dan was fantastic at educating us sharing their insights. Trust your instincts, but also trust the experts! Dan made several recommendations that saved us a lot of money. We had a very elaborate shower 4 water features were adamant about having a high pressure pump to ensure our water pressure didnt suffer. We spent an extensive amount of time talking it over with Dan ultimately decided to take his advice skip the expensive pump. He had put in larger pipes our shower is incredible with spa level water pressure! I was also 100 set on zone climate control after having it in our last home. Dan was really patient talking through the financials facts with me for several weeks, ultimately I decided to trust him. I set the AC to 68 degrees at night I was very concerned with having to cool a large zone, but I couldnt be happier with our insulation AC set up; plus it saved me 18k. He is always looking out for you. If he knows something is important, he will accomplish it. During our build we lived only 6 minutes away walked the site almost daily. Throughout the entire process I was really impressed by the level of craftsmanship of each trade. The job site was kept clean the quality overall never fell short of beautiful. NuWavz has high stards if anything didnt live up to their standard, they got it fixed, usually before we could even say anything. It is an incredible feeling to be raising our family in a home we know was built so well by such incredible people. My husb I literally stood in the driveway looking at the NuWavz truck one day, broadcasting a slogan of Quality at a Price that Represents Value, which could not be more appropriate. I encourage you to do your homework like we did, Im confident you will end up in the NuWavz office, building your dream home with this incredible team."
