"JAWS was recommended to us from our very experienced designerarchitect that does a lot of business in Portola Valley. They remodeled 75 of our 3000 square-foot home and did most of the work themselves. They only subcontracted out the very specific and highly technical crafts such as shower doors, etc. This was a very big job and they handled it perfectly. They were always right on the money with their estimates and there were absolutely no surprises. None at all. They made extremely helpful suggestions with clear explanations as to why we might want to include certain pieces of work. They were always very transparent and honest along the way. An example of this is that I would ask Jamie when we would be able to move in and instead of promising me a certain date he would explain the dependencies that needed to happen us making last-minute decisions or ordering certain materials or passing a certain inspection in order for us to move in. The quality of their work and their attention to detail was outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and always communicated very clearly. We love the fact that they are a multigenerational small business. It felt good to see three generations of Flores men working on the job site at once. Covid happened in the middle of the job and they took safety extremely seriously. On top of all that they are just really good guys. When it was time to do the landscaping I went back to Jaime and asked him to do it knowing I would be satisfied. They did a lot of excavation, built around 100 feet of retaining wall, laid pavers and artificial turf and redid the driveway. Needless to say I would highly recommend them for a small or big job."
