"Last year, my husband and I inherited his childhood home. The house was old and had many issues, so we decided to COMPLETELY renovate it. Max Wolf was the contractor from Concept Renovations that we initially consulted with and who ultimately spearheaded the huge project for us. We told Max our list of wants and he and his team delivered beyond our satisfaction. Our home looks and feels like a brand new home! Not only was Max's team amazing at their job, they were quick. After the initial waiting period for permits, demolition began on July 29, 2024, and by February 2025 we were all moved in to our beautiful "new" home. Our renovations included stripping the house down to the studs, then adding 1,200 additional square feet of living space which includes a master bathroom with his hers walk-in closets for the primary room, a downstairs guest suite complete with its own living room and bathroom, a bonus room and an office, as well as extending two existing bedrooms and adding walk-in closets to both. We also got all new plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Walls were removed downstairs to create a HUGE open concept kitchenliving room and a porch brand new walkway were added to the front of the house. We are sooooo happy with results and with the work that Max and his team did, and we would highly recommend Concept Renovations for your project - big or small."

"Working with Jacob's company and Val and their vendors is a total pleasure. They stay on time, they stay on budget and their work is beautiful. If something needed to be done, or redone, they were there so promptly. Im happy with all the vendors they used and would use them again. Val is an amazing supervisor and was present on the job almost daily to make sure everything went well. The team communicated and coordinated very well and the home remodel turned out perfectly. "We hired this company for two bathrooms and fireplace removal. Due to poor communication, unpredictable scheduling, an unprofessional contractor and lack of respect, we had to terminate the second bathroom midway. Besides some initial delays from materials and permits, the contractor, Phil, often took random leave2 to 3 days per week, once even for nearly a full week without providing any explanation.When we followed up, both Phil and the project manager, Max, blamed the delays on our material ordershowever, he took time off without even checking the material status with us. Scheduling was unpredictable: last-minute changes, late arrivals, and frequent no-shows were the norm. When we raised concerns, things would briefly improve for 23 days, then revert right back to disorganization. The most serious incident happened toward the end. My husband asked a coworker politely and out of curiosity about the steps remaining for ceiling and wall work. Phil overheard and aggressively shouted at him in our home. He is 5'10", about 200lbs. It led to a verbal altercation that caused me to have a panic attack. I had to leave the house, and later sought professional help due to anxiety from this experience. Eventually, we decided to terminating the rest of the project and informed Max. However, the invoice they sent still included charges for the second bathroom and for electrical work that was never done. After two rounds of negotiation, we got a corrected quote. Their finance team responded quicklybut that was the only consistently professional part of the experience. The quality of the work? Passable. But for example, after removing a built-in closet, they left the ceiling and floor unfinished. Though Phil promised it would be repaired, nothing happened. We had to ask Max to send different workers to complete it. The final outcome was just acceptable - it looks okay at first glancebase on the materials that we selected by ourselves, but closer inspection reveals a lack of attention to detail. Not recommended if you care about reliability, communication, or basic respect in your home."
