"Wellmade built a backyard office shed for us and we're happy with how it turned out. We shopped around for a company for some time and in the end, we were happy to find a California Bay Area company to support. While we havent started utilizing the shed just yet it was finished 2 days ago, we are pleased with the construction and appearance of the cedar siding and Marvin windows. Ian in sales was patient and helpful to customize our shed including with an 8-foot sliding door. We visited the Wellmade factory near Oakland airport, which is highly recommended so you can get an in-person sense of the look, feel, and quality of materials. We were initially expecting to start installation at the end of February but to our surprise, Wellmade started in early February. We were very impressed with Tim and the construction crew. They were professional, friendly, and efficient throughout the project easy to work with and respectful of our property. The guys on the crew worked 12 hour days in all weather conditions. They finished at night on day 7 of construction just as the February storms started. There was an English-Russian language barrier, but Kirill on the construction crew was very helpful with translation and helped bridge communication gaps. Overall, a smooth experience with a great result. We are looking forward to utilizing the shed and reimagining our backyard space as soon as the weather starts to clear. Would recommend."

"I purchased the Sunset shed to use as a home office, and it has been a total game-changer for my workhome balance. With a 1 and 3-year-old at home, having a dedicated work space is essential. I especially love the wrap-around window; it lets in great light and allows me to look out into the backyard to keep an eye on the kids as they play while I work. Wellmade clearly pays attention to the details. I love the smart lights and the convenience of having electrical outlets with built-in USB portsthose little touches make a huge difference in a modern workspace. The process was seamless. The all-inclusive price covered delivery, installation, and taxes, which was very fair. I also appreciated that because of the shed's size, no permitting was needed. I didnt have to act as a project manager or juggle contractors; the onsite team was professional, efficient, and top-tier. One piece of advice: I hired an outside contractor for HVAC later. Dealing with those logistics was a headacheif I could do it over, I would have had Wellmade handle that as well to keep everything under one roof."

"I recently worked with Wellmade to build and install a shed in my backyard to use as an office, and the experience was exceptional and reassuring from start to finish. Before choosing them, I spent weeks working on bids with a local contractor and three other major prefab companies in Washington and Colorado to explore options. Wellmade hit the sweet spot offering quality, customization, and value. And I liked that their factory was just an hour away in San Leandro. I even accepted their offer to drive down for a tour, which gave me a better comprehension of their building process, materials Marvin windows, etc. and attention to detail. Working with the project manager, we designed something that theyd never built before: a modified Richmond model with both a solid side entry door and a back window, in addition to the standard sliding doors. The final result exceeded expectations and added a lot of functionality. What made this project even more special is how they integrated the shed with my existing outdoor deck. The crew came up with smart, creative solutions to make everything feel like one cohesive structure using the same composite decking and adding a clean step-up entrance that looks fantastic. Because they had an opening in their schedule, my project went from design meetings to construction in about a month theyre typically booked 23 months out. A fantastic three-person crew handled everything, from demo and foundation prep to final cleanup, in under a week. They were detail-oriented, confirmed every plug placement, and clearly enjoyed the work. The finished shed feels solid and quiet, with thoughtful touches like TP-Link smart lights that can be dimmed and controlled through the Kasa app. I highly recommend Wellmade - especially if youre based in the Bay Area - to anyone looking for a modern, well-built prefab structure with a personal touch.
