"I hired Bayou Builders to build my 3,400 square foot home on a waterfront lot in Chipley Florida. I only contracted them to build it to the Dry-in stage. I am still working on finishing it so Im not posting any pictures at this time. The home has a walkout basement and a main floor with an eight foot wide wraparound porch. The basement has a poured concrete foundation and cinder block walls filled with concrete. I have had three contractorbuilders in my house during this project for various reasons and all have made positive statements on the quality of workmanship. I also had an inspector for the county tell me the home was Near Tornado Proof. This is the third custom home Ive had built and this one is leaps and bounds above the other two. I had the privilege of working with Ryan on a daily basis during the process. When any unseen challenge arose he always went above and beyond, even if I didnt think it was necessary. His pride in workmanship is remarkable. In addition to great workmanship these guys are dependable and they communicate very well. Five stars for everyone involved."

They managed multiple improvements at once, including new floors, kitchen backsplash, a new front door, painting, and a beautiful custom built in wall unit. They went above and beyond to make our house exactly what we wanted, and even caught some plumbing and wiring issues that needed to be addressed. "Our experience with Bayou Builders has been nothing but FANTASTIC! They completed an extensive remodel of our 1920s-30s home in Panama City. Approximately 75 or more of our house was impacted including complete remodels and reconfiguration of our bathrooms, dining and kitchen. Walls and ceilings were removed, spaces opened up, new duct work, new electrical, new plumbing, etc., etc. We had a few good surprises along the way - original hardwoods were restored in our kitchen after uncovering them under 7 other layers yes, 7 layers of flooring. Upon removing the old ceiling, we also uncovered the original cypress ceiling planks which were sanded and restored beautifully. From the bidding process all the way through to the final touches...everything was just perfect. Aric was extremely detailed in his quote, and in his communication throughout the project. We stayed in constant contact throughout, and he was so responsive. Ryan did much of the trimconstruction work and coordinated onsite with the sub-contractors. He was so particular about the quality, and he stayed in regular contact with us, as well. The attention to detail and just the thought and care that went into our project was amazing. They were also true to budget. Outside of change orders that we initiated along the way to add some additional work, they were nearly "spot on" with the original quote. All of their work was done on time and with care. As a side bonus, they were just really fun and good people to meet and work with on this project. We have other projects planned in the future, and we plan to use Bayou Builders. I would recommend them to anyone looking to remodel or for a new construction.
