2026-02-02"DO NOT. I repeat DO NOT rent from emmert development. They aren't good people to have as your property management. I personally dealt with harassment from their employees. Their main maintenance guy mike assaulted someone on my property while they were there as my person to deal with a maintenance issue while I was not home. My friend was punched in the face by mike and NOTHING was done about it and he was allowed back to work two days later working on a house a few houses from where I was living.
Shellie is AWFUL and her behavior is less than professional. During an inspection she huffed, puffed and degraded my 10 year old sons room who has disabilities. Walking around rolling her eyes and arguing with me. They gave me "violations" for having kids toys. My son's dirt bike and our 4 wheelers in our backyard. Nothing was ever stated on the lease that those were not allowed. They fought me on having security cameras and security lights in my backyard for safety. As a single mother, I had those for safety and I was being forced to remove them when how they were installing was not damaging the property or body of the home. The few violations I did have. I fixed, yet two weeks before Christmas my kids and I were given a 30 day notice and forced to move. Forcing me to come up with thousands of dollars for moving cost and my kids out for Christmas. These people dont care. I lived there for over 4 years. Always paid rent on time that they increased to the highest amount each year single mother of two paying 2,565 just for rent and never late.. never had problems with neighbors kept up on yard work. Yet they felt i was "unfit" to live there anymore. I had legal representation. But with emmert being so high in clackamas county... it honestly wasn't worth thr fight. After 4 years of the harassment, and the last inspection of them treating me and my kids who awful.. I new it was just time to leave and get me and my kids away from these awful people. Not to mention the office lady Susan who literally laughed in my face and was highly disrespectful... this company is unprofessional and not worth your time. No matter what they say to you. Its better to just stay away."

2025-08-10"Rude customer service, we agreed certain terms.they lied about it and charged me 300. Also stole from us unpaid rent. Also the cleaning too. They stole 700 from us. Not honest people and our neighbors said the owner of the company is not kind."

Their sales guy called me out of the blue after an initial bid 1.5 yrs earlier and said we lowered our costs I emailed back that I was still interested and then followed up a couple mos later. No response after several emails. I finally called the company and was passed around to several folks then some guy named Mark said hed get back to me. A week later and nothing. I think theyre only interested in large industrial jobs now. Why not just tell me that guys?!"

2019-05-24"We had to wait a really long time for an appointment. I know the guy is busy, but it seemed like we were being put off. Might have had something to do with the client I had escorted by request, who wasn't quite "in good standing".
So, that given the case, seemed like a very reputable company, led by a respectable man. Under different circumstances...
... eh, I can only speak to the experiences I've had personally. And there you have it. "
