The Powell Group is led by Mitch Powell, a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience in the residential homebuilding industry. His background spans both single-family and multi-family residential construction, giving him a well-rounded expertise that benefits every project they take on.
Prior to founding The Powell Group, Mitch Powell served as Construction Manager at OsterCraft Homes, a private custom homebuilding firm focused on luxury homes throughout Portland. Before that, he worked as a superintendent for D.R. Horton Inc., the largest publicly held homebuilding company in the United States. Over the course of his career, he has overseen the construction of more than 500 single-family and multi-family homes in the Portland metropolitan area.
Since establishing The Powell Group, Mitch Powell has completed more than 30 ADU projects across Portland and the surrounding region. He also holds a Master's degree in Real Estate Development from Portland State University, further reinforcing his expertise across all phases of the development process.
