"If you think the idea of building a house is stressful, try finding an architect who gets you with a flexible schedule and an amazing portfolio. The task in itself was daunting and it felt like we didnt know where to start. Days and days of disappointing calls to contractors, flaky referrals, way less than stellar work portfolios, jam packed calendars with no openings for new projects for 24 months, unreasonable rates, unpleasant energys.you name it, those were our options. The dream of building our forever home and the excitement expected to follow, was quickly evaporating. Then.one day while scrolling yet another round of search results, I saw an image of a renovation that grabbed my attention.
