"Ihor and his team have done a great job on our condo remodel! The main elements of our project involved gutting two dated bathrooms and removing an old wood burning fireplace in our living room, and painting our whole condo. Before we hired Ihor's company we had a contractor who had signed on and cancelled on the project just a few months before it was to start. We fortunately found Ihor who was willing to take on our project and start on it in the same timeframe as we had originally planned. Also, Ihor's quote for our project was very competitive compared to some others we received. Ihor and his entire team are very professional, courteous, respectful and reliable. Ihor always makes himself available when you need to talk with him or want to meet in person to discuss aspects of the project. When there is an issue he makes sure to address it so that his customer is happy with the outcome. I can tell that this is important to him. He understands that his customers are putting in their savings into doing a remodel and so is empathetic to their needs. To me this was reassuring. The tile work in both our bathrooms has turned out great! We love our walk in showers and heated floors in both bathrooms. "We hired Maksymov Brownstown to do a heavy kitchen remodel earlier in 2025. We fielded multiple quotes from various groups, and honestly Ihor was the most honest and straight forward bid that we got. We engaged with his group in March of 2025, and started breaking ground around early September. Overall, every modification and renovation made by his group was fantastic. They were very fast, efficient, and incredibly clean. Before starting anything they would put up full enclosures to try and reduce as much debris as possible, and in any instances where dustdebris escaped the plastic barriers, Ihor brought in cleaning crews to try and keep our living areas as nice as possible through-out, which felt like extra attention and care during a really stressful transition for our family. Not only did the crew pay attention to every detail along the way, they helped us with all aspects of the design phase. They were helpful when we asked for it, but took creative input when we had it. We had numerous sessions with their designers, and landed on a design proposal that we were very happy with, and Im stoked to say that the kitchen we got was nearly identical to the kitchen originally pitched in the design docs, which I feel is quite rare. We had a huge amount of creative control on what we wanted with our kitchen space colors, tiles, patterns, stains, paint, all of it, and Ihors team was very patient and worked with us on each step of the way, designing exactly what we wanted to the best of their abilities. Our kitchen remodel had a rough timeline of being done before Thanksgiving started Sept 1., and they absolutely delivered. Ihors team passed the kitchen over to me in time to cook an absolute banger of a Thanksgiving dinner, and this kitchen exceeded every expectation I had for it. Im beyond pleased with the end result. When Ive been told about remodels Ive always been told to double both the time and the estimate for a more realistic view of what the renovation is going to take to complete, however with Ihor and his crew the financial estimate was basically exactly what was quoted.
