"I am so very pleased with my new bathroom by LYD. My house is almost 100 years old and has been through a LOT of DIY mistakes. LYD took everything down to the studs repairing a surprising amount of hidden issues, making everything new, functioning and exactly what I wanted. I purchased the materials with their guidance and specifications so there was no mark-up which really helped to keep costs down while also making sure I got the tile and fixtures I wanted. Other companies required full design services and said what I wanted would cost at least twice as much or they didn't bother to ever call me back. As a facilities and project manager in my professional life, I have a lot of experience with contractors and the team I worked with at LYD Construction did a fantastic job while also having their hearts in the right place. For anyone looking for remodeling help, make sure you are clear about what your priorities are, put everything in writing so you and your contractor always have something to refer to and make sure you have the same understandings, and make sure this company is one of the ones you interview for your project."

"We were going to let things go, but subsequent contractors validated our frustrations, and we wanted to flag them. Lior was the project manager for our shower remodel in Dec. 2022. In July 2025, we noticed that the shower head was loose and wiggling in the wall. When we raised this concern with Lior, he immediately and defensively said: -It was our fault for getting a shower head that was too heavy; -We must be yanking on it or letting our children yank on it; and -There was no way it was an installation problem. He said that he was willing to open our bedroom wall behind the shower to look inside, but would not fix the dry wall. A week later, we had plumbers here and asked them to look. It turned out the shower head was supposed to be secured with 3 screws, but 2 of the 3 were never screwed in pic 1. Lior agreed to cover the bill, but the plumbers were shocked that such an oversight occurred, and Lior's immediate response was to blame us. At that time, we were partway through a bathroom remodel with LYD. One issue: Lior recommended a larger vanity than our prior one, and we agreed. But the wider vanity was going to require two light fixtures. When we noticed this issue halfway through, Lior wanted to charge another 2,100tax. We said that wasnt fair when the issue should have been addressed in the original contract. It wasnt until his project manager, Steven, confirmed the need for two light fixtures that Lior agreed to it. Second was floor tile. Lior used to have an amazing tile guy, Alex, who installed our floor tile pic 2. I changed my mind about tile color, and we agreed to pay to have it redone. The 2nd time, a different installer did a terrible job: uneven grout lines 3, lippage 4, a scratch in our wood floor 5, grout left all over downstairs 6. Liors head tile guy, Russell, blamed us for buying cheap tile. Lior disagreed, saying the problem was installation, and since it was so poor, he would not charge us to have it redone. We appreciated this! We bought higher quality tile and Steven reassured us they would send out their best installer. Then, Lior sent back the same guy from the second installation! I immediately texted with concerns and was told not to worry. Sure enough, the installation had obvious problems 7-15. At the entrance to the bathroom, the tiles aren't straight and flush to the wood floorthe gap is visible from down the hall. Our new contractor said this was particularly egregious. The grout lines are uneven. The tiles dont align at 50. The uneven lines don't matter so much, but there is excess lippage, with the worst in the middle of the room that gets the most foot traffic, where you stand to use the vanity. It can't be covered or fixed. The lippage easily fails the credit card test. We told Lior that we were upset he sent the same guy and had concerns about the installation. He got mad, accused me of being a perfectionist, dragging out the project timeline, and hurting his teams feelings. He said he just wanted to finish the project, but now would not move the light fixtures which he had begrudgingly agreed to bc I would complain it isnt perfect. We all decided to end the contract. Initially, we refused to pay for the retiling, but offered to pay the 3.1k the next day out of guilt, which Lior quickly accepted. We now understand we were in the right, but we were gaslit. Adding to respond to the business response: To be clear, the contract ended bc Lior sent back the same tile installer that he himself acknowledged had done a poor quality job with the previous install, and when it happened again, this time wasting 7sq ft tile, he got mad at us for raising concerns. The portion of the contracted work that was refunded was for work that was never completed. We paid for the completed work AND for a tile installation that apparently does not meet industry standards. We were made to feel guilty and wrong about these concerns-to the point that we covered the cost-only to be validated by subsequent contractors, and we feel we were cheated."

" 5-Star Review for LYD Construction I recently completed a home remodel with LYD Construction that included a full kitchen renovation, new built-in cabinets and shelving in my family room, a remodeled powder room, and a custom coffee bar in my formal dining room. In the kitchen, we added a large island, removed existing closets, and replaced them with beautifully designed pantries, replaced flooring, added lighting, added a microwave in the island, installed a non-standard hood, added tile backsplash... completely transforming the space. I had been working on my vision for a while and met with several contractors before choosing LYD. From my first meeting with their team, I knew they were the right fit. When I described what I envisioned, it felt like they were completely in sync with me. They took the lead with confidence and delivered exactly what I had imagined beautifully and efficiently. The entire project was completed in just four weeks. From collaborating with the cabinet and countertop designers to working with the office staff and Lior, everything went smoothly and communication was top-notch. "Lior and his team were absolutely incredible! From the quote to project completion, everything was fast, efficient, and seamless. I had a lot of work needed with everything in my house original from the 1980s. My kitchen renovation which included a full gut and removing a wall turned out even better than I imagined. I was so happy with the results that I immediately signed on to have them do my master bathroom, even though I originally planned to wait a year or two. What really stands out is their responsiveness and care even after the projects were done. When I noticed a bathroom issue, Lior and his team were back right away to address everything. More than a year later, when I spotted a cracked tile high traffic area, they once again responded immediately and took care of it without hesitation.
