"Update 06242025: it has taken Detrays close to a year to address the items left unfinished on our homes that we were given the keys for 8122024. They are denying any obligation to fulfill their duties and are shouldering the blame to the manufacturer of the home. Regardless of who ends up being responsible Detrays continues to stay current with their terrible track record of wasting our time as customers and taking the money and running while abandoning any and all customer service. We like our Kit custom home but we cannot stress enough DO NOT use DeTrays if you are expecting a quality, finished product. Update: 1025 another month has gone by and some major electricallack of still an issue. Deck planks, trim, missing blinds, chipped light fixtures, paint issues, door stops, scratches on our 8 foot slider, large bumps underneath flooring and more all still need to be addressed. Filed a complaint through BBB to help warn others of this scheme. Run, dont walk away from these guys and Kit Custom Homes. Purchased two homes. Neither of which has been completed after the 45 day inspection. We are still waiting on our counter top to be corrected so we can install a stove top, busted open insulation in crawl space to be fixed, working electric in several areas of the home, splattered paint on ceiling and floor to be cleanedrepainted. On top of this their communication has been less than pleasant and border line condescending. If you insist on buying a KIT home I highly suggest looking at other providers as Deytrays has left us up a creek with no paddle."

"I truly wish, I would have had a better experience here! I'm very disappointed. Things were going fairly well, until I tried to get a price on the home we picked with upgrades needed. Johnathan, our sales rep, emailed me the floor plans to submit to vendor. Asked me to let him know of any changes or corrections. So, I emailed him 7 times the next two days, as I had the thought, of what was needed. One email was asking if the vendor we picked had a handicap shower as my husband has dementia. After not receiving any replies from him, I called their and asked a sales lady if vendor has a handicap shower and she said no, it was not FDA approved so they could not install them any longer. Longer story short, ended up speaking to Johnathan later that day he told me he's working with vendor. They are trying to find another shower source. Why couldn't I have been told this? How long will this delay delivery? We'll be living in our 5th wheel in the winter, in Eastern Washington, waiting for our home to be delivered, so it's very important to me. We could have just picked the other vendor I was going to buy. I too asked him why he hasn't answered any of my emails, or told me about the shower. Then he asked me to try and put all my thoughts in 1 email, so they are easier for him to answer. I was so appalled by his comment knowing they were all important to me for him to know. At this point, I wanted to talk to the ownermanager. In the conversation with him, I was told the customers that have a deposit down are the priority. Please keep in mind I don't even know the cost yet. It's been 7 and 8 days since I emailed my simple questions or additions, 4 days since I asked him why he hasn't answered any of them. So, I have decided to look elsewhere, because if they don't have time to help me now, if the home is delivered with any issue, I feel I will struggle getting help because these were simple corrections that would impact price, like adding a ceiling fan for example or questions like does their slider have key entry? He's chosen not to answer one email. That's not okay with me."

"Lora was such a an excellent sales consultant! She was patient and knowledgeable about all areas of purchasing a manufactured home. She showed us a few houses on the lot. The houses are decorated nicely and kept clean. You can tell they put some nice upgrades in the house. I agree that you can customize your house with this lot but it comes at a pretty steep price point. The prices are just too high and unrealistic for manufactured homes...but it sure was fun to look at them."

"Came in to take a look at the lot models. They were all very nice. Then went into the office to get a quick price breakdown and hear the rundown on how they operate. Definitely shopping around. But we did find a couple homes that we absolutely feel in love with. The smugglers pantry... OMG! Amazing!"
